Amadis is a singer, songwriter, and an extraordinary presence – both on stage and in front of the camera. For his debut album “1979 Dig Deeper” we created a series of portraits that connected directly with his music.

The lead image was inspired by his song “Freedom” and its powerful lyrics. One line in particular stayed with us: “Take your mask off.” It became the guiding thought of the session – a reflection on the masks we wear in daily life and what freedom might look like without them.

Working with Amadis was less about posing and more about channeling energy. The portraits aimed to capture not only his look, but also his spirit: raw, creative, unpredictable.

And if you want to see that spirit move, I recommend his music video “Suspicious Chicken”. A little crazy, yes – but also a welcome reminder that playfulness belongs in a world of constant normality.
