Visiting Vancouver

The first recommendation I got for Vancouver: Bring a rain coat. I stayed in a quiet neighborhood with many small houses in the north. A ride in the ferry away was the city center. The river crossing was a special event each time. The surroundings of Vancouver, are also inviting for well-geared visitors. Most beautiful were the long stretches into the mountains, where one could once again wonderfully comprehend the beautiful vastness of the rough world around us.
